Seasonal tune-ups

Heating in the fall, cooling in the spring. One visit per system per season.

Wrenches and hand tools in a toolbox

Every heating and cooling system benefits from a yearly check, and the right time is just before its busy season: furnaces and boilers in September and October, AC and heat pumps in April and May. Heat pumps run all year, so they get both.

Each tune-up follows a written checklist for that system type: combustion and CO testing on gas equipment, electrical and refrigerant checks on cooling equipment, drains, filters, safeties and controls on everything. You get a written report with measurements and photos.

If you have several systems, like a furnace, AC and a mini-split, we'll schedule them in one visit.

Signs you need this

  • Your last tune-up was over 12 months ago
  • You're heading into heating or cooling season
  • You bought a home and don't know the service history
  • You want to keep the manufacturer warranty valid

How it works

  1. Book the season

Fall for heating, spring for cooling. Members are scheduled automatically.

  2. Checklist visit

A written checklist for your specific equipment, measured and recorded.

  3. Report

Measurements, photos, and prices for anything worn. Nothing replaced without your OK.

Common questions

Can you do furnace and AC in one visit?

Yes. In spring or fall we can check both. The AC coil check is limited below 60°F outside, so a spring cooling visit is still better if you can.

What if you find a problem?

We'll show you, give a written price, and fix it that day if you want. You're never obligated.

Do I need to be home?

Someone 18 or older needs to let us in and be available at the end to go over the report.
