Boilers & radiant in Halden, MN
Halden's pre-war houses and brick walk-ups are full of hot-water heat: cast-iron radiators, fin-tube baseboard and a boiler in the basement. It's quiet, even heat, and it lasts a long time when someone who knows it looks after it.
We service boilers from the 1950s to last year's condensing models, and we install radiant floors in new additions and basement remodels.

Boilers & radiant: common questions
Do you work on old cast-iron radiators and steam systems?
Yes. We service hot-water and steam systems from the 1920s onward, including bleeding, balancing, replacing valves and moving radiators.
Is a new condensing boiler worth it?
If your boiler is cast iron and over 25 years old, a condensing boiler typically cuts gas use by 20 to 30%. We keep your radiators and piping and replace only what is needed.
Can you add radiant floor heat to a basement or addition?
Yes. We install in-slab and under-floor radiant loops for basements, additions and bathrooms, connected to your boiler or to a small dedicated water heater.
Not sure what you need?
Tell us what the system is doing, what it sounds like, and how old it is. A dispatcher will tell you whether it sounds like a repair, a tune-up or something to watch, and book the right technician.
